Can I book a specific room?

We can only guarantee a specific room if you book the Victorian Romance package. This package allows you to choose in which room you would like to stay.

In any other case, you are still welcome to state your preference for a certain room and we will do our very best to take that into account. However, we cannot guarantee the room. You can state your preference in the comment box when you make your booking via our booking engine.

Do I get to know in advance in which room I will be staying?

Unfortunately, this is not possible. The assignment of rooms has multiple determinants, which keeps us from informing you in advance in which room you will be staying. However, you can be assured that:

If you book a Deluxe Double room, you are guaranteed to stay in one of the following rooms: The Earl’s Chamber, The Captain’s Lodge, or The Green Parlour.

If you book a Classic Double room, you are guaranteed to stay in one of the following rooms: The Porcelain Room, The Secret Garden, or The Inventor’s Attic.

I would like to book a room with two separate single beds, is this possible?

Hotel Pegasus has two rooms which can accommodate twin beds (two single beds). If you indicate your preference for a Twin beds room, we will do our very best to make sure to book one of these two rooms for you. However, if both rooms have already been booked, we can offer two separate duvets on a double bed. Unfortunately, we cannot gurantee a room with two separate single beds.

If you would like a room with two separate single beds, please let us know in advance, either through our booking engine (by selecting the add-on “Preference: Twin Room”) or by contacting us directly.

What are the check-in and check-out hours?

On the day of arrival you can check-in between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. If you would prefer to make us of the room from 2:00 PM, you can book a ‘Priority check-in’ with us.

Check-out is between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM. If you would like to sleep in or simply take your time, you can book a ‘Late check-out’ with us and have the room until 1:00 PM. 

Can I check-in early (before 4 PM) or late (after 9 PM)?

It is possible to check-in early but only upon request beforehand. If you book a ‘Priority check-in’ your room will be ready for you from 2 PM.

It is also possible to check-in after 6 PM. If you expect this to be the case, please notify us in advance. Guests arriving after 6 PM may obtain their keys through our key lockbox. If we haven’t heard from you at 7 PM on the day of arrival, we may mark you as a ‘no-show’ and your booking will no longer be guaranteed.

Can I check-out early (before 7 AM) or late (after 11 AM)?

Yes, it is possible to check-out early. Please notify our reception staff during check-in or, at the latest, on the evening prior to your departure.

It is also possible to check-out later than 11 AM on the day of departure. For an extra charge, you can extend the check-out time to 1 PM. You can book this in advance through our booking engine by either selecting the add-on ‘Late check-out’, by booking one of our packages with extended check-out times, or by notifying the reception staff.

Where can I park?

You can park your vehicle on our own parking lot behind the hotel. To reach the parking lot, drive up the driveway next to the hotel, continue all the way down and go around the corner.

We do not charge any extra fees for parking.

How can I pay for my stay?

We accept Maestro, Mastercard, Visa and American Express cards. You can also pay in cash (no bills over € 100,-).

You may also pay with iDEAL or Giropay through our booking engine. We ask you to pay the full booking amount in advance with iDEAL and Giropay payments.

Any extra charges from creditcard payments, international bank payments or other will be passed on to the guests.

At what time do you serve breakfast?

From Monday until Friday, we serve breakfast from 7:00 to 10:30 AM. If you wish to have breakfast before 9 AM, we ask you to please notify our staff in advance.

We can prepare a small packed breakfast or lunch for guests who need to leave before 7:00 AM. Please inform the reception staff in advance.

On Saturdays, Sundays and official holidays, breakfast is served between 9:00 and 10:30 AM.

If you need to have breakfast early (before 9 AM) during the weekend, due to a meeting or an early flight, please notify us and we will arrange this for you.

How accessible is the hotel for people with reduced mobility?

Hotel Pegasus is housed in a historic, monumental building. Due to limited space, the hotel is not accessible to wheelchair users.

All rooms are on the first and second floor of the building. Unfortunately, the hotel does not have an elevator.

The first floor can be accessed by a large, broad staircase (14 steps), followed by another broad staircase (6 steps), with banisters on either side. The second floor can be reached by a more narrow and steeper staircase (13 steps) with two corners.

Our hotel does not have any walk-in showers and some rooms have two levels with small stairs, which can be difficult for people with mobility issues.

If you have trouble walking, we would advise you to book a Deluxe room, because these are all situated on the first floor. If you still have any doubts or questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us so that we may assist in your choice of rooms.
 

Where can I smoke?

Hotel Pegasus is a non-smoking hotel indoors. You are not allowed to smoke in your room or in one of the common areas inside. You are allowed to smoke on your own balcony or roof terrace.

After check-out, can I leave my car in the hotel’s parking lot?

Due to the limited amount of parking space, this is not possible. However, you can park in one of the parking spaces in the street after check-out. You can buy a dayticket for parking at the reception.

Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the hotel. Due to the possiblity of guests with allergies.

How do I book a package or add-on?

You can book our packages and add-ons through our own online booking engine. To reach the booking engine, press the ‘Book now’ button. You can find the button on our homepage or in the menu. The button will direct you to our booking engine. You may then pick a date of arrival and departure, a room type and the number of guests. You can then select whether you would like to have breakfast or not, after which de list with packages, add-ons and preferences will appear. Please check the box to add your selection to your booking.
